This guide applies to the Ripple Tray, a 3D-printed household accessory for keys, jewelry, and small everyday items. It does not describe the care or suitability of other Layered Goods products.
Material and finish
Ripple Tray is made from PLA or PETG plastic. The care guidance below applies to both materials. Visible layer lines, a small seam, and minor surface or color variation are part of the printing process. Dimensions are approximate; screen colors can differ from the physical piece. Cracks, sharp edges, or defects that interfere with normal use are not intended features.
Cleaning
Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh solvents, prolonged soaking, dishwashers, microwaves, and ovens.
Use indoors, away from heat
Keep the tray away from flames, candles, hot objects, heaters, hot vehicles, and prolonged direct sunlight. Do not use it as a candle holder, ashtray, trivet, or electrical enclosure. Avoid bending, dropping, or placing heavy loads on the tray. We do not claim a tested heat-resistance rating.
Intended use
This is a household organizer, not a food-contact product, toy, teething item, or safety device. Do not use it to serve food or drinks. Keep plastic packaging away from children and pets. Stop using a piece if it cracks or develops sharp edges, and contact us for help.
Packaging and end of life
Your tray is protected in a bubble bag with accordion paper filler. Reuse packaging when possible. Check local recycling rules for clean paper filler; bubble bags generally require separate handling and should not be assumed suitable for curbside recycling. We do not claim that the tray is curbside recyclable or home compostable.
